I think allowing YouTube, Vimeo, etc. videos to be embeddable would help you put this site ahead of most other imageboards at the moment.

you should be able to have a favorites page (shows newest threads under certain tag subjects) that you can switch to instead of random.
Can you implement batch uploading? I.E. selecting several images to upload sequentially, so you don't have to manually select everything. Obviously, this raises some spam concerns, so perhaps it should be given out as a privilege.

What if, on the catalog, there were a box with the tags at the top of the screen with checkboxes by them? By default, they would all be checked. You could uncheck the tags you weren't interested in seeing, the catolog would update itself to fit your tastes, and a cookie would be saved remembering your preferences.
I think you should do something like with private torrent trackers where you have a maximum user cap and only allow members in good standing to invite, and only when there's space from pruning bad members off. Maybe have a public area where anyone can view and read threads but not actually reply to them. Also, damnit tee.

Is there any way to unhide threads? I was only testing to see how it works. I can access the one thread I hid through its direct link, but it doesn't show up on the pages. On the other hand, it does show up on the catalog view. Which may be something to look into, since if you genuinely want a thread hidden, you wouldn't want to see it at all --i.e. you'd want it hidden everywhere, anywhere.

I understand why you want one board, but I think at the very least you should have a way to screen out sfw vs nsfw content, whether it be two boards or having people tag images/threads as sfw vs nsfw. Not

This suggestion keeps coming up in different forms, most of them are not practical for 1chan. After some discussion I believe I know the best way to take care of SFW/NSFW content filtering. I will be adding another checkbox next to Bump/Anonymous which will say NSFW. It will be mandatory that any content which could get someone fired from work be marked as such. By default, NSFW content will not be displayed. If you don't care about filtering NSFW content, you'll be able to go into account settings and enable "Always show NSFW content".
Whenever I'm on a page other than the front one and click page 0, it just refreshes the page I'm on, no matter what page it is. I'm guessing that wasn't intended so I thought you should know

Hey just a though i had could we have a reward system for people giving people something like thumbs up just to their account where some restrictions will be lifted at different milestones? Like time between posts est. also can their be a rewards program for old fags? I think those two things would make our small community better by setting an intensive to be active. Friends list sounds like it would be pretty cool, but nothing too in depth, just wanna know if people are online or not. Just because we all have names Also, little details would be pretty cool, like at the top of the website how many threads there are, how many people are browsing said thread so we know if the thread is dead or not. What if there were a sidebar on the left side of the screen with a list of tags? You could click them / unclick them, highlighting them, and then the appropriate boards would show up. It'd make thread hiding a lot easier and it'd be a nice throwback to the old way that imageboards had frames.

Could you add a "Random Thread" button? You know, like the "Random Article" buttons they have on wikis? Pressing it would take you to a random thread anywhere on 1chan.us, excluding ones with tags you ignored.

I think that there should be a feature to image/reply hover expand, like on 4chan. Would save some time.
I think there should be thread/board statistics at the bottom of every board so, I can see if the thread is falling behind where nobody goes.

Uh, I just got invited today and all, but a few comments; the layout is very jarry, the browse thing is annoying as hell when you're legitimately browsing a thread and the lack of boards makes everything seem really cluttered and difficult to use. Not that these are necessarily bad things, depending on what kind of aesthetic you're going for. You may like the chaos like some boards I have come across(freedomboards comes to mind, they pride themselves on the shitty design and puny userbase). Also more text scripts like spoilers, italics, bold, headline could be a cool feature. Overall 5/10 with potential to be 8/10 if you sort out the tagging system and do a lot of work on coding. Are you taking any influence in coding from places like 4chan and 4chon? There's no shame, using someone elses design to one-up them is a beautiful concept. Will keep an eye cocked either way, doesn't seem to be for me right now though. The guy who invited me said this is just a beta design, is this true?
Could we get an update button on the bottom of threads? Much more convenient then refreshing the page all the time.

Is there a way to see all currently active tags or to browse multiple tags? I like the tag system, but so far I've really only been able to click a tag that appears next to a post, so to search for threads about drugs for instance, I would have to find one tagged as such first.
